Henniker, NH - New England College today announced the availability of Graduate Teaching Assistantships for its Master of Fine Arts Creative Writing Program, offering a groundbreaking solution to a longstanding need in the low-residency MFA model.
The Master of Fine Arts Creative Writing Program at NEC is the first low-residency MFA program to offer Graduate Teaching Assistantships, providing students opportunities to gain relevant teaching experience and funding for their graduate studies. The Teaching Assistantships were designed specifically for low-residency MFA students, with considerations for personal and professional obligations as well as the unique needs of a geographically dispersed student body.
